Follow this step. If done correctly the guy will beg you for your number.
NOTE: This only works on real, have-it together guys. It is also good to figure out who wants you for you and who is just looking for a hook-up with anyone.
1. DON'T KISS THE GUY. Even though he is begging, trying several times, and will do pretty much anything to kiss you, don't let him. Of course he wants to kiss you. That is step 1. You'll always want what you can't have. If this is a good-looking alltogether guy he should be used to girls wanting to kiss him. YOU ARE DIFFERENT! remember this. You are not just a girl at the club. You are special. Show him that. He will respect you more for this. How do I know this? Because I did it and the guy told me that he respects me much more for not kissing him.
2. TEASE AND FLIRT. Just because you are not kissing him doesn't mean you have to behave like a boring saint. Show him that you can be fun, interesting, smart and cute.
Tip: If he talks about his ex, or another girl it didn't work out with and he gives lame reason to why they broke up like: "I just needed to focus on my job", or "she wanted to move in and I wanted to travel next year" or something similar you say: "C'mon we both know thats just a male excuse which really means that you weren't that into her to begin with."...
He will agree on this....and feels like you get him better than the other girl did.
3. HAVE YOUR OWN THING. Its very important that you have your own hobby, school, project or whatever that you focus on. Its extremely attractive for guys to see that you are not depended on them, and they want automatically to be a part of that. It makes YOU more attractive!!
4. Sometime during your time together turn over to him, smile and say: "So, tell me something. What kind of girl do you respect?"

When he asks for your number, which he will, say with a smile: "hmmm you know I think its a waste of time giving my number to someone thats not gonna call........(pause)...., I only give my number to guys that have their act together. (If he is a pretty confident guy you can actually go so far as calling him a wuss, and ask him what he actually would say if he did have the guts to call).......After, you say this: "Besides, im pretty busy with work and stuff....
Trust me: He wont let you go before he has your number....
